Jill's a button away, so to speak. One press of a button, and he can hear her voice again.
Yet something stops him from going ahead and just doing it. Maybe he's scared that things will spiral out of his careful control of his own feelings.
He'd never really opened up his heart to anyone before. He never wanted to, really. But it's different with Jill. For him, Jill was the girl who can laugh with him, even over the stupid things she did herself. Perhaps it's this inexplicable quality that draws him to her.
Jack being Jack, he's trying to move away. To protect himself, he thinks. The opposite occurs, not only for him, but for Jill too.
***
Two blocks away, Jill waited for the call that never came.
Something's bothering me but I can't figure out what it is.
Hate this feeling. Annoying.
Perhaps it's because of those stupid dreams I've been having.
Or that I'm not doing my essays.
Or that I'm wasting away my youth.
But perhaps it's simply me wondering: is this an indication of my future life? Never having a real holiday to myself. I miss those school days when holidays really means holidays for me. I don't go for tuition, I don't study, I don't go back to school for whatever people go back to school for. I'm freely rotting at home.
It's much different now. There're thousands of reasons why I should be glad of this change, but I still need to get used to it. Just need some time.

Friendship
Lately, I found out that, it's really hard for me to communicate properly with people who I have feelings of dislike.
It's just not my nature to pretend to be all buddies with somebody who I can't stand. Somebody who I've given up on.
So, I won't force myself anymore. There's no point remaining friends with people who don't accept you for who you are. Making yourself fake your way into believing you can actually have a good time with that person, seldom results in anything good.
Letting gois better. Release and be happy =)

Okay, here' the story of the Poor Student. Having not enough money to study overseas in her dream country, she was very happy that her application was successful. Thinking that she could now be financially independent, she rejoiced. Life seemed excellent!
Then, trouble came brewing, in the form of Evil (Money) Terminating Service. Intent on robbing Poor Student of as much money as possible, they decide to charge $17 to send an ONLINE score report to EACH university. And you may ask, what does the score report contain? Three numbers. Oh, but there might be a lot of costs involved. Well...as I said, it's online! No paper cost, no extra manpower costs, I presume. The reports already existing, ain't it? But still, Poor Student has to pay for it, since the colleges all require this exclusive document.
That's not the only enemy in Poor Student's quest for a degree in the States. Apparently, there're the uni app fees, and misc charges, all in $$$.
Thank you US for turning everything into money-making machines. Thank you very much.

Story of Jack & Jill
I’ve always wanted to write, and blogger boy has given me inspiration to actually get to writing something. Gonna be short posts from time to time. (Note: this is purely fictional. Don’t go hypothesizing that it’s based on somebody I know or whatnot, cuz it really isn’t.)
Chapter 1: Disappointment
Jill clicked on the notification tab. 100+ new comments and she opens them one by one. Some made her laugh out loud, but after that, she just felt hollow. Facebook is, after all, a place for bored people to hang out.
The new Social Interviewer application is providing her much entertainment, to fill her time. As she waits for a call from somebody, she keeps clicking and typing.
25 questions completed. Yet he doesn’t call. Not even a message.
It's been a very short and compressed semester, but somehow a lot of things happened. Had plenty of fun despite having to put extra time on academics.
Here're some photos: MPO Concert -my first and second time to such an event. Watched these groups of musicians playing strings/brass/woodwind/percussions. So grand! But don't think I'll go again soon, just not my kind of place.
Malacca trip!! LOVE the place. Best place to camwhore at, and food is good (compared to Nilai at least). In short we fully utilized the great architecture of historical sites. =P
INTI Got Talent organized by IMPAC. The only relatively clear photo i have is this of Seth Borges playing guitarr! (er..if u ever happen to see this, u were good =D)
Donating money to uncle to buy new clothes. See, LEOs are so charitable. ^^
Dinosaur gonna swallow us up but we're STILL SMILING!! ~Trip to Genting with the girlz~
LEO Trip to Genting. Enjoyed it, tried the sungai rejang flume ride for the first time. And wanna say I super duper love travelling. Next destination: Cambodia!
I really did a lot of things this semester..LEO events..travelling...focus on studying..my first ever singing performance (even though it kinda sucks...but thanks very much to Quek, Ah Heong, Crystal, and others)...first time enter casino!...concert...Am grateful for all these experiences and promise to treasure all I got. Life is short..and it often takes the loss of someone close for us to wake up and realize that. Hope I won't make this mistake anymore and waste my days away.
Time to take charge and do what I should. Signing off.

It's strange being home after so long. Family changed. Or perhaps I changed. Sometimes I don't know how to act here. Walking around the house. Stoning in front of the idiot box. Gazing at the laptop. I'm so aimless that I started this blog.
I guess I seriously need to find something to do. =X
